Kind, Big-Hearted Person: Danvers Local Hero – Danvers, MA Patch

DANVERS, MA — When times are tough, heroes emerge. But rarely do they get the spotlight they deserve.

We all know someone who’s making a difference right now as we live through unprecedented and changing times.

Here at Patch, we’ve begun an initiative to help recognize these heroes making a difference in their communities. Together with Ring, we’re working to let all your neighbors know about these outstanding people and their stories.

Pamela Ames, who works in education in Danvers was nominated for her dedication to bringing meals services and transportation to Danvers children and students during the coronavirus health crisis.

“She has spent countless hours in and out of the office during the COVID-19 pandemic making sure kids get meals and proper busing for schools in Danvers,” said her nominator. “(She) is truly a kind, big-hearted person who loves her town.”

Thank you for all you do, Pamela.
